神奈川県横須賀市で、ミニチュアダックスフンドのルイ君のお別れの儀式にて、お手伝いさせていただいた経験をお話しします。ルイ君は18年間という長い年月を、ご家族様と共に過ごしました。その間、ご家族様は介護にも全力を尽くされ、生前から準備と相談を重ねることで、2年間にわたる介護生活を支えました。そんな愛情に包まれたルイ君の姿を見て、自然と涙がこぼれました。彼の頑張りと温かい思い出は、きっと虹の橋の向こう側でも変わらず輝いていることでしょう。これからは、ご家族様を虹の橋から見守り続けてくれることと思います。ルイ君とご家族の絆に深い敬意を表し、心からご冥福をお祈りいたします。

I would like to talk about my experience helping out at the farewell ceremony for Louis, a miniature dachshund, in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. Louis spent 18 long years with his family. During that time, his family made every effort to care for him, and supported his life over the two years of caregiving by preparing and discussing with him before he passed away. Seeing Louis surrounded by such love, tears naturally flowed. His efforts and warm memories will surely continue to shine even on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. I believe that he will continue to watch over his family from the Rainbow Bridge. With deep respect for the bond between Louis and his family, I pray for his soul to rest in peace.
