早朝から海洋散骨のお手伝いをさせていただきました。集合時間の2時間前に到着したため、しばらく海を眺めながら待機していました。その時間は、準備を進めると同時に、広大な海を眺める貴重なひとときとなりました。海の静かな波の音に耳を傾け、水平線の彼方まで見渡すと、自分の存在がいかに小さなものかを改めて実感しました。心の中に広がる平穏と、人生の一瞬を大切に感じる機会を得られたことに感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。このような形での見送りは、故人に対する深い敬意と愛情を感じさせてくれるものであり、その尊さを心に刻みました。この経験を通じて、私たちが自然とともに生きていることをより深く理解し、日々の一瞬一瞬を大切にしようと改めて心に誓いました。

I helped with a maritime scattering of ashes early this morning. Since I arrived two hours before the meeting time, I waited for a while, gazing out at the sea. That period, as I made preparations, became a precious moment to look over the vast ocean. Listening to the gentle sound of the waves and seeing all the way to the distant horizon made me realize again how small my existence truly is. My heart was filled with gratitude for the peace that spread within me and the opportunity to cherish a fleeting moment of life. A send-off in this way made me feel a deep respect and affection for the deceased, and I engraved the dignity of that in my heart. Through this experience, I came to understand more deeply that we live together with nature, and I renewed my resolve to cherish each and every moment of every day.
