神奈川県横須賀市のご家族様のもとで生活していた愛らしいハムスターちゃんのペット火葬のお手伝いをさせていただきました。横須賀ならではの海を背景にして、ご家族皆様がしっかりとお見送りされていて、このハムスターちゃんが皆様にどれだけ愛され、大切にされてきたかが伝わってきました。初めてご家族に迎えたペットということで、その後の日々の中でたくさんの笑顔と感動を与えてくれたことと思います。

このような小さな動物でも、その命の重みは何ものにも代えがたいものです。生命の大小は関係なく、その存在がいかに大切であったかを改めて感じる時間となりました。これからは虹の橋の向こうからご家族を見守ってくれることでしょう。

We assisted with the pet cremation of an adorable hamster who had been living with a family in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. With the Yokosuka ocean as a backdrop, the family members sent him off with a poignant farewell, conveying just how much he had been loved and cherished by everyone. As this was the family's first pet, we're sure he brought many smiles and joy to their lives in the days that followed.

Even for such a small animal, the weight of a life is priceless. Regardless of its size, we were reminded of how precious its existence was. We're sure he'll be watching over his family from beyond the Rainbow Bridge.
