In Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, we helped a beloved cat that had been with us for 16 years depart. When I thought about how warm and irreplaceable the days spent with a cat were, I was reminded of the importance of being considerate of the owner's feelings and sending them off quietly. I believe that various moments in their lives were filled with memories of their cat, and a deep bond was forged there. The days spent together as a member of the family over the past 16 years will continue to live on in their hearts. We offer our heartfelt condolences for the cat's soul. We are grateful to have been able to be a part of such an important occasion, and we pray for the owner's peace of mind.
