神奈川県横須賀市で、地域猫のお見送りを務めさせていただきました。この猫ちゃんは地域で大切にされ、皆様に深く愛されてきた存在と伺いました。初めはその鋭い顔立ちから近寄り難い印象があったかもしれませんが、日々の触れ合いの中で、地域の方々の愛情をしっかりと受けとってくれたのでしょう。その存在が地域にとってどれほど大切なものであったかを物語る、心温まる見送りの場を経験し、多くの人々の想いがこの猫ちゃんに注がれていたことが感じられました。静かに手を合わせる皆様の姿に、地域の絆の深さを改めて実感しました。今はただ、彼が安らかに天国で過ごせることを願うばかりです。これからも地域の皆様が手を取り合い、美しい絆を築いていかれることを心より応援しております。

We were in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, to say goodbye to a local cat. We heard that this cat was treasured and loved by the local community. At first, he may have seemed unapproachable due to his sharp features, but through daily contact, he must have received the love of the local people. We experienced a heartwarming farewell that told us how important he was to the community, and felt that many people's thoughts were poured into this cat. Seeing everyone quietly joining their hands in prayer, we were reminded of the depth of the community's bonds. All we can do now is hope that he will rest in peace in heaven. We sincerely hope that the local community will continue to join hands and build beautiful bonds.
