We helped with the cremation of a beloved pet, a hamster, in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The children reminisced about the hamster, who they had spent every day happily with, and shared many beautiful stories with us. Pets are members of the family, and saying goodbye is very difficult and the sadness is very deep. However, we could see how much the hamster was loved and cherished.

The children were able to see the hamster off with all their hearts. Their attitude was wonderful, and they were filled with love and gratitude. I'm sure they are watching over their family and smiling from the other side of the Rainbow Bridge right now. We hope that this farewell will be a new step and remain in their hearts as a fond memory. We pray for the repose of the deceased's soul.
